 Infinitely Small Infinitely Large

07.12.2018 - 12.01.2019

Mixer is hosting the first solo exhibition of Yüksel Dal “Infinitely Small, Infinitely Large between December 7th and January 12th. Dal is spontaneously transfering primitive or modern figures, people, gods, witches, wizards, kings and slaves from his mind onto papers. He is taking his start with a single line and then follows where this line takes him randomly during his working process. The busy mind is emptied onto the blank paper. Patterns of Dal produced in isolation of time and chaos are becoming timeless and placeless.

Yüksel Dal (1992, Istanbul) graduated from Adıgüzel Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi and then completed his undergraduate degree in 2015. Now he pursues his masters degree at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts. He focuses on relationships between human and nature (world, space-time, borders-walk) coincidence-order, fantasy world, consciousness and development through new world imaginations and the concept of entity-nothingness. His works have been exhibited at O’Art Art Competition, Istanbul Art Competition, Genç Etkinlik, Cumhuriyet Museum, Marmara Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts Showroom; Marmara Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts Corridor. The artist currently lives and works in İstanbul.
