About Istanbul Gallery Week:

Istanbul Gallery Week (IGW) celebrates the contemporary art scene all through megacity Istanbul. By bringing together Istanbul's galleries with colleagues in Turkey and around the globe via series of events, IGW’s primary motivation lies in the enthusiastic approach to becoming a part of the global gallery week(end) network. IGW becomes one with the contemporary art scene by hosting two main events in spring and fall and continuing both as a dialogue holder and a collaborator hub throughout the year.

The platform will come to life between 11-20 November 2021 for the first time. The week reunites the city life by adopting the new world order under IGW on-site and IGW showcase. The events are planned for curatorial selections and parallel activities to be held in an independent venue and the productions that the galleries in Istanbul will bring together with the visitors at their own venues.
